The Work.
The founding vision of Casual Sushi is to craft creative digital experiences that open doors to new realities. We lead through big-picture thinking and small detailed execution.
Greystone
For over 40 years, Greystone has been a trusted leader in senior living. A heritage brand with deep industry roots, Greystone sought a new site build & design that would pave the way for the future of their business.
As Greystone is highly established, we sought to revisit the visual brand—modernizing and evolving the brand look. Starting with Art Direction, we delivered 2 initial stylescapes that showcased two different visual directions. We settled on a minimalist and modernized approach that would function seamlessly on site with UI, motion design & custom development.
Throughout the Discovery Process we worked closely to define user profiles and key feature sets. The result is a beautifully functional website for Greystone: one that differentiates the company from competitors and cultivates an excellent user experience.
Aanika
Aanika creates biotech solutions for food waste, detection of diseases, and much more, with the creation of cutting edge molecules that can feel like a sci-fi movie. But far from fiction, they are creating solutions for better food systems globally, today. In collaboration with The Good Kind, Casual Sushi helped Aanika realize their online identity. Our focus was on the development and motion design aspects of the project and the results speak for themselves.
Prysm Group
Prysm partnered with Ivy League University, Wharton, to release a first of it’s kind Blockchain and Digital Assets course: the Economics of Blockchain and Digital Assets. They trusted the Casual Sushi team to bring the project online - from discovery to execution.
After leading a Discovery process where we outlined user personas, product offering and tech functionalities, we began execution. We created a fully functional website (design, UX, copy) that performed, integrating best practices for conversion and building upon user personas to create targeted content. Additionally, we integrated conversion-boosting apps like Klarna to assist in bolstering enrollments.
Featured in major publications like Bloomberg, Business Insider, Fortune & more: historically, the course is the first to accept cryptocurrency as payment for a university course. We continue to be the trusted partners - maintaining and supporting the site and marketing activities.
Magformers
Magformers is an Award-Winning Magnetic Edu Toy, sold at major retailers nationwide. An industry leader, Magformers sought an e-commerce site that delivered an incredible user experience for their broad spectrum of users.
For the launch of the website, we prioritized an in-depth discovery process that identified and categorized complex user personas. By focusing on user profiles, we were able to translate unique user needs into corresponding UX features. From IA to full development, we strategically prioritized on-site user journey, adopting a functional site experience for all user groups.
A highly collaborative process, this Discovery Process facilitated total alignment from the Magformers team to the Casual Sushi team. The Magformers site launch accomplished a goal that’s equal parts aspirational and functional—bringing to life a digital home for Magformers that is as industry leading as their products.
MUTHA
When amazing on-site consumer experience is key, flawless development is essential. We lead the complete development of the MUTHA Shopify site, implementing high performing functionality for every page. Since then, we’ve been their E-commerce trusted partners for ongoing maintenance, support and optimization.
